Christmas markets are fast becoming a must-do festive activity so why not experience some of Europe’s finest this year with our excellent three night Belgium Christmas markets Cruise onboard the MS Princess.

After cruising the picturesque waterways of Belgium and relaxing onboard your river cruise ship, your first destination will be Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world. This attractive Belgian city boasts a historic centre, a castle and a Gothic cathedral. Antwerp Christmas Markets sell all sorts of handicrafts and traditional hot food and drinks.

On day three you will visit the cosmopolitan city of Brussels. The Fish Market is the place to be with it’s festive decorations, a giant Christmas tree, hundreds of Christmas market cabins and an ice rink. With a fairytale feel the Brussels Christmas Markets will set you in the mood for the festive season. The spectacular Grand Place is also an ideal place to soak up the festive atmosphere and you really must try the world-class beer and chocolates on offer throughout the city.

And last, but certainly not least, is the medieval city of Bruges. This beautiful Belgian destination is nicknamed ’The Venice of the North’ because of it’s pretty network of picturesque canals, excellent architecture and romantic character. The Bruges Christmas Markets, which mingle with the city’s many attractions, are also some of Europe’s finest and most popular.

Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Ghent. Journey to the river cruise ship MS Princess in Ghent in time for evening dinner and relaxation onboard the MS Princess.
Day 2 - Antwerp. We sail the Ghent Canal, taking breakfast and lunch before arriving at Antwerp during the late afternoon. You will have free time to enjoy the Christmas Markets of Antwerp before returning to the ship for your included evening dinner.
Day 3 - Brussels. We sail the River Scheldt from Antwerp to Brussels, taking breakfast and lunch before arriving in Brussels during the late afternoon. Included return coach transfers to this cosmopolitan city’s Christmas markets for time at leisure. Evening dinner will be included onboard your river cruise ship.
Day 4 - Bruges. We disembark the M.S. Princess after breakfast and make our way to Medieval Bruges, host to one of the most famous Christmas Markets in Belgium. Depart early afternoon as we commence our journey home.
