6-Day Break

• Day 1 – Travel from local joining point to Belgium for an overnight stay.
• Day 2 – Trier (included). On to Germany for an included visit to Trier Christmas Market, then to the Black Forest for three nights. B, D
• Day 3 – Strasbourg(included). An included full-day excursion into France, to Strasbourg, which plays host to one of the country’s largest Christmas markets. Enjoying a stunning setting in front of the magnificent cathedral, the market is complemented by a visit to La Petite France, a cosy neighbourhood of timbered fairytale buildings and Christmas shops. B, D
• Day 4 – Black Forest & Freiburg (included). Explore the enchanting Black Forest scenery, with an included visit to Freiburg and its famous Christmas Market. All based around the Rathausplatz, where the fragrance of mulled wine, roast sausages, gingerbread and hot chestnuts fills the winter air. B, D
• Day 5 – Head to northern France for an overnight stay. B
• Day 6 – Return journey home, via Calais. B

Accommodation

You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star standard Treff Hotel in Bad Herrenalb. Beautifully situated in the Black Forest, the hotel creates the perfect base for our tour of the region. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, and leisure facilities include an indoor pool with sauna and steam bath. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone.

Overnight stays in Belgium and northern France will be in city-style hotels.
